We shot our newest ISLA collection on one of those almost-too-hot summer days—the kind that makes you crave iced coffee before 9 a.m. It was high 80s, full sun, and we were sweating in all the best ways. But the setting? Totally worth it. We spent the day at a cozy lake house in Bentonville, Virginia, owned by a couple who’s lived there since 1985. They raised their three kids—two boys and a girl—on that property, and you could feel the history and heart in every corner.

Even though it was summer, we were shooting ISLA’s fall drop—a collection full of easy pieces made to help you transition into the season without overthinking it. We styled everything to feel relaxed but pulled together: think flowy dresses, soft knits, effortless tops, and versatile bottoms you’ll want to live in. There’s plenty of texture, soft neutrals, and a little edge with pieces like lightweight denim and laid-back sets that go from day to night.
