Maximize Your Bust
Try a halter top or triangle top and add a pair of “Bravo Pads” sold
here at South Moon Under. These nifty little pads feature a push up shape
that do not absorb water and can be cut to fit any suit. Keep in mind that
most bikini tops have removable pads. Simply take out the manufacturer’s
pads and slide in the Bravo push up pad! Halter tops with ruffles and/or
ruching also trick the eye and makes a smaller bust appear larger.
To Minimize and Support a Large Bust
If you are going for a bikini ALWAYS buy a top that ties around both
your neck and your back. When putting on your top, lean into the top
and tie it before you stand up. This will help maximize support. A
tie neck also enables you to adjust the amount of support you need. “Chunky
Halters” (halter tops with a thick band under the bust) work
great to help support a large bust. Unwire tankinis also work really
well for support and to help minimize a large bust. South Moon Under

To Slim Yourself All Over
Try a suit that is printed on the top with a solid bottom. People make
the mistake of covering themselves in a print in hopes of camouflaging
flaws. Paring a printed top with a solid bottom is extremely flattering
and can be done with a tankini or bikini. Also, look for suits with
a higher lycra content. Lycra is a form of spandex and the higher the
percentage of lycra, the more the suit will help “suck” you
in.
To Trim a Long Torso
Try Tankinis with a printed top and solid bottom to shorten the length
of your body. If you are looking for a one-piece note that some lines
are cut longer than others. Leilani, from Quiksilver always seems to
be a great one piece for the woman with a long torso.
For Lower Body Help
Try suits with a high cut on the leg which make the leg appear slimmer
and longer. If you are uncomfortable showing your thighs, try an A-line
swim skirt bottom. You can add cover ups like a sarong or pull on cover
skirt, too!
