Status: Full-Time and Part-Time Employee
Location: Corporate Offices – Berlin, MD

South Moon Under is currently seeking full and part-time Distribution Center Processors. Duties will include receiving and processing incoming and outgoing orders, sorting merchandise and pulling orders.
Part-time and full-time positions are available, Monday thru Friday daytime. Flexible scheduling including Saturdays and overtime may be required depending on the needs of the department.

Requirements include:

High school diploma or GED
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to count and read invoices
Ability to frequently lift and carry at least 50 pounds, as well as stand and walk during the work shift.

South Moon Under a unique, upscale fashion retailer with 14 stores on the East Coast is looking for new Fit Models to join our team. The positions are part- time and on an as needed basis.
We are located in sunny Berlin, Maryland so local candidates are preferred.

Job Description:

Entry level Fit Models start at $25/hour for fittings.
Part-time, flexible hours during weekdays, nights and weekends
No professional modeling experience is needed
Located at our corporate office in Berlin, MD
Fit models will model clothing to be photographed and used on our website www.southmoonunder.com
Models must be 18 years of age

We seek fit models for the following sizes:

Women

Height: 5’7” – 5’11”
Waist: 26 – 27”

Solves creative challenges and continues to build creative that delivers on business objectives and strategy

Collaborates with Photo, Production, Marketing, Buying and PR partners on all projects as necessary to develop creative solutions

Creative Management

Reviews all stages of project with Creative Director

Prepares creative presentation materials. Presents and reviews all creative with Creative Director
Collaborates with Production Personnel & Photographer ensuring that proof comments are accurately completed
Mentors production designers

Process Management

Demonstrates Project Management Skills to keep projects on track and on schedule and assists with timeline development
Maintains job notes on critical design details for future reference

Creates/maintains current, up to date style guides

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years design experience
A love for fashion and keen understanding of current and past trends
Good organization, time management and multitasking skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
BFA or equivalent degree required
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash
Strong Understanding of typography and design composition
Ability to retouch and color correct images in a high paced environment
Knowledge of four-color, spot, and digital printing processes and prepress requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with retail workflow, processes, and structure
Fashion Industry experience
Photo art direction experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to present creative ideas in a professional, organized manner.
Strong understanding of photography and digital imaging.
Understanding of html and JavaScript
Familiarity with Social Media environment
